About me
Building Community Through Random Acts of Art
Signs of Hope is an intentional art festival featuring local artists who conspire to inspire optimism, compassion, and pride in place through the creation and tactical installation of public art.
Since October 2018, we have been hosting community painting parties in accessible locations so that people of all walks of life can take part.

Each completed 'sign of hope' is eventually installed at a random location somewhere in Nanaimo to help shape the way our community looks and feels.. These works of art can usually be found in highly visible yet unexpected places. Our hope is that they brighten the lives of those who see them on their daily travels.
